From childhood, Mehedi Hasan has been a natural with numbers. He was the High School Regional Math Olympiad champion in 2001 and the University hall chess champion in 2005. He completed his honors and masters in Physics from the University of Dhaka, the number one university in Bangladesh, in 2008. He was also a renowned hardcore programmer at the university.
Foreseeing the vastness of technology, he declined a Ph.D. offer to build his career in Tech. Within 10 years, after working for various multinational companies (such as the World Bank), he became one of the youngest Deputy General Managers (Head of IT, eCommerce & Payment) at Grameenphone (1.7 billion USD), the biggest brand in Bangladesh.
In 2018, he migrated to Barcelona, Spain as a Highly Qualified Worker. He completed his MBA from IESE Business School (a top-ranked school globally) in 2020, recognized as the most Transformed Student. Mehedi is also the first Bangladeshi IESE MBA student. In 2021, he became the CTO at Kubbo, an award-winning and highly promising startup in Spain. Mehedi is also a co-founder of Mediget, a digital platform that innovatively connects medicine manufacturers/suppliers, pharmacies, and customers.
IESE was ranked #1 Business school in 2021 by The Economist.
