Bangladesh's first digital newspaper: eProthomAlo.com designed and built from scratch by Mehedi Hasan

Mehedi designed and built the entire eProthomAlo platform, pioneering Bangladesh's first digital newspaper edition for Prothom Alo. Built with PHP, MySQL and custom page-rendering scripts, the system automated print-to-digital conversion and later evolved into ePaper.ProthomAlo.com. The screenshot shows browser DevTools with the developer alias "m3h3di" in the source comments, a timestamped proof of authorship. By 2012 the platform served 500,000+ daily readers, digitised 2,000+ pages a day and cut print-to-digital turnaround from 24 hours to under two.
